Photos from week 16, May 8-14 are located below.
The solar panels installation by Revision Energy begins with work under the workshop to create a feed from the workshop roof underground through the conduit to the garage.
Getting ready to install the rack for the panels on the workshop roof. The workshop roof will have 14 300W panels and the garage an additional 14 panels.
Meanwhile, another window is trimmed out inside.
The inverter to convert the solar DC current to AC and connect to the power grid is installed in the basement.
The solar panels are relatively thin and light enough to be carried up a ladder to the roof.
All the solar panels and were completed in just 3 days by a crew of 4 on the first day, 3 on the second day, and 2 on the third day. Revision Energy’s was well-prepared, and had a very well-coordinated team effort throughout the installation.
The first half day of operation produced the 6.2 KWh of power shown below. We haven’t had much sun since the installation, but the panels have still produced about 100KWh of power over the past few days.
The upstairs is fully painted.
Only a little painting remains for the downstairs. As the drywall crew was leaving, appliances were delivered, and all but the dishwasher have been installed.
The grilles for the ceiling mini-split units and numerous other finish details are underway.
