Photos from week 13, April 16-21 are below.
Shelves for the front hall bookcase are completed, but the trim can’t be done until the doors are first trimmed because they will have to intersect with each other.
The center of the staircase has been cut down in preparation for staircase work, and some rough 2×4 built-up newels and rails have been set in place to determine how they can best be attached.
The upstairs drywall has been delivered and the dry wall guy will begin work next week.
The hybrid hot water heater is installed and functional, including a digital display and internet connection.
House without the Black Bros. trailer (which had to be moved for the drywall delivery.)
The pantry trim is nearly finished and ready for paint.
The entry/dining ell is wired, insulated, and the drywall has been hung, and with this completed, the heat is on, making everything easier for everyone.
The staircase will get vertical boards (wider than shown mocked up) and the bottom of the staircase will have this general appearance also with vertical boards.
Kitchen cabinets are all but completed, and the Granite Shop will measure for the countertops this coming week.
This weeks photos are posted in memory of Sam who had to be put down unexpectedly this morning after he suffered a significant stroke without any warning signs.
He was a loving lap, couch, bed, and even, desktop “buddy.”
