Happy resident who, sadly, is no longer with us. Miss Molly died last Summer at the age of 11 after several health problems.
Newest resident Thomas on the left with “Senior cat” Simon on the right. Simon was simply delighted to have Thomas, and they have been “best buddies” since.
Of course, taking care of a kitten can be exhausting! Fortunately, there were high places for resting that the kitten could not (yet) access.
Typical daily activity.
Laundry room work. The pull-out bin holds laundry waiting to be done.
Entry work including the floors and basic cabinet work. Doors yet to be done.
The fireplace works very well. Flooring in this area is yet to be done.
While recovering from gall bladder surgery, much low-key work was done on the stop controls for a more baroque style organ case. The case itself was updated in early December although there are many details like trim yet to be done.
I have (just) another 60 stop pulls to turn!
The built-in just near the living room has been completed.
Wainscoting has been completed in the living room.
Entryway work – mostly just needs closet doors.
Bedroom built-in. Needs drawer facings and doors now.
